Quote (Voyaging @ Aug 7 2012 09:35am)
Luke 1:15 for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
Jeremiah 1:4-5 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Psalm 139:13-16
For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
I don't see an opinion on abortion in that at all.
Quote (AEtheric @ Aug 7 2012 09:31am)
No, it's a non-sequitur because anything or anyone that terminates a pregnancy deliberately is causing an abortion. I don't care if God is the arbitrater of what good or bad is, that has nothing to do with this, it is simply that one cannot logically change the definition.
Appeal to authority.
Apparently when we are talking about abortion we are not talking about the same thing.
Nobody is trying to pass laws regarding natural abortions so try to stay relevant. The subject in the OP was an abortion in the modern and medical usage of the word.
Equivocation.
