Simple. Why would you set an imaginary illusion that only creates more illusions. Like, fear only induces more fear.

Why not simply resort to content understanding and reasoning? It is such a subtle and eloquent lifestyle that offers far more than the former.

Because, this entire world's predicament was spawned by the very distortion fear and goals created. As much as goals are useless and pointless, there are those who mix up extremely terrible goals with pride and stubbornness.

Do you see a problem within this aspect of reality?

I do not see a problem. I see pride, fear and that these ''goals'' are the capital drive that makes these illusions far more dangerous than they actually are by default.

To me, goals are the only reason why these illusions are distorting our reality. Without that drive for pursueing a fabricated sense of self-gratification, this world would have been a much better place. There would be no religion. The greater leaders [those who were speaking for themselves and the people, as well as the greater means for the world] would not have been overthrown for this act of glorification that DOES NOT TRULY exist in all actuality. Kids wouldn't be out there getting themselves in trouble for the sake of ''proving'' themselves in their own twisted sense of making a goal. This world would make much more sense if mankind wasn't focused on an illusion, and rather a practical solution to our world's problems.

It is not a goal. It is simply creating a reason. This world makes no sense. Mankind contradicts itself, because they are creating thousands upon thousands of excuses to ignore the inevitability of our world's corruption.

Why are you trying to keep tying this down to a goal? This isn't a goal to me. I make the best of any given situation. I get shit done casually. I approach it headstrong, but I do not dive into it face-first.
