I don't really consider the word atheism to refer to a belief in any god at all. One can be an atheist to one god and not others, like many many religions, but what I describe as atheism is the rejection of all gods. In other words no-theism.

How can you say such a thing? Atheism is the denial of a god or gods. Therefore, it's an oxymoron to say that atheism is a lack of belief.

No, that is anti-theism.

Anti-theists are all "you can't fucking talk about God in school, it infringes on my rights!!!!" with spittle flying and everything.

Atheists are like "do what you want, it seems silly to me, but if it makes you happy, enjoy yourself."

In other words, atheism is lack of belief, anti-theism is outright denial of God (or Jehovah, Allah, w/e).

No offense but what you just said made absolutely no sense. So I'm to believe that atheism somehow inherently has something to do with people's stances on their rights?

Nope, I disagree.

An anti-theist is someone who's actively against God, and you don't have to be that to whine about other people talking about God. Just an intolerant non-Abrahamic-religion person. :P

Both forms of theism are ideologies, however.
