Yeah that'd be weird if disabled people felt proud about themselves.

ETA: Also, your "Gays are disabled" argument is roughly on par with a "Blacks are disabled" argument.

imo overcoming hardships shouldnt make u proud of the thing that caused you hardship, just be proud of yourself for overcoming any hardships.
