The American racism against blacks at one point was much worse than most other countries observed. I can't agree with the statement that "our racism helped free them" if you try to compare it to sexism against women in our country, and how we "freed women from their daily care-giving tasks" it sounds very ignorant.

Slavery was flat-out evil toward Blacks, period. There's no bright spot. The fact that there are many black people who (after centuries of servitude and another slavery of even more servitude and lynchings and bullshit and even today still having to face massive bigotry) are able to overcome all of the parenthesized and live a pretty decent life doesn't reflect well on the instution of slavery at all.

If we hadn't been dicking with Africa, fucking all their people in the ass and stealing their countries, then they would almost certainly be better off. In the sense that they would be completely different people since their parents never would have met in most cases, ofc.
