I wonder when people will drop the political identity war and actually begin the class-war. I guess perhaps never. The power of the internet is too strong when it comes to stirring up people.

You shouldn't think of this as an actual trillion dollars sitting in cash that can be used and deployed to w.e. you want.

It's almost entirely tied up in company equity that he built, its IP, its company fixed assets, its the collective intellectual prowess, code and other things that team came up with. It doesn't work like regular cash where if you wanted you can go cash out and distribute it.

Something that those screaming for re-distribution don't understand. Even if Elon sells out entirely, it will be exchanged for USD and move the liquidity from one place to another.

Elon musk didn't build anything though.
He used his daddy's money for PayPal.
He practically stole Tesla from the original owners.
He gets handouts from uncle Sam for SpaceX.

Kind of mind boggling he stacked up this much of a net worth through other people's money and work but that's capitalism for you.

Almost every defense or NASA tied company gets govt handouts and contracts. That's more of a feature of the industry. Same thing with Tesla EV credits.

Tbh anytime i hear someone mention this i generally think of them as a dick rider. You get that those perks apply to others in that space right?
