Would prop 193 protect those that have the grandfathered tax from being reassessed when rebuilding from an environmental emergency?

Almost a decade ago I heard of Jamie hynmen working on this.shame We fund immigrants,fund a war then stop supporting it throwing the money away,half ass build a wall that doesn't work. But we can't put a fraction of the money from any of those to fund make a couple hundred of these and Jamie to further refine it.

Exactly my point. You can remove yourself from either of these situations, yet typical peoples think its perfectly fine to take advange of one and not the other.

That's just silly. Victims of fires can't always remove themselves from these situations, nor are they responsible for the fire most of the time. Criminals wilfully commit crimes and deserve to face the consequences of their actions.

I mean you don't think that makes sense? California has much higher tax dollars paid per dollar of support than NC. I'd think a guy like you would be be in favour of those that contribute more get more in return.

these same narratives come up in hurricanes as well. and i always thought the same for years, "anyone there is an idiot, just get out". then my parents got caught in one. storms or fires change course, intensify or decrease in strength, etc. may parents weren't supposed to be in the path then by the time it changed course they couldnt even get enough gas in their car to get to safety so they hunkered down and were ok thank goodness. same goes for this fire, some people are either unable to get out physically or weren't in danger unless it was too late.

My point was, NC response was slow and worse from at least federal response.

You know, big daddy government the socialist rats kneel and beg to.

Yet Commiefornia gets immediate federal response.
