Again. You do not have to file for income tax. This is where you got the idea. You've mistakenly extended that into "you don't have to PAY income tax". This is not true.

If you volunteer to pay a tax and don't,
there are legal consequences you agreed to.

Lol if by "volunteer to pay a tax" you mean "work gainfully" then sure. You don't HAVE to earn money, and therefore you don't HAVE to pay income tax. That's the only scenario in which your logic holds up.
