The race between Casey and McCormick has come down to an automatic recount, separated by only 20,000 votes. To help Casey, the democrats in the Bucks County board of elections voted yesterday 2-1 to illegally count miscast ballots that are clearly excluded by the PA supreme court's multiple rulings earlier this year laying out which ballots get counted and which don't. They had a batch of ballots without proper signatures, as well as those with undated or incorrectly dated mail-in ballots. The supreme court had already ruled explicitly saying such ballots must be rejected and the board does not have legal authority to tally them.
And that leads to this batshit insane moment:



“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws anytime they want,” Diane Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”

The commissioners simply ignored the supreme court ruling, and their legal counsel's counsel, and probably sobbing family members desperately phoning them asking them why they are such morons. They decided to emulate Lincoln in ex parte merryman, except without the army to back them up with an implicit threat to cross the rubicon if Taney didn't sit his robed ass back down.

21 Ballots have gone missing and uncounted in a Shakopee state house race for MN that has the democrat leading by 14 votes. And the MN house is locked at a 67-67 tie including that democrat. This creates quite the pickle, maybe the first provable case where voter fraud / irregularity makes the difference in the outcome for control of a chamber

The state believes that 20 mail in ballots were received by tabulators and then improperly discarded on the next day. But it cant be certain if they were opened and read or still in privacy envelopes. Or if it was intentional.


theres going to be a big problem here. Courts will have to intervene. Can we say its unlikely the republican won 18/21 of these votes? If it was accidental, and then it depends on locations and demographics, its not a random sampling. And if it was intentional? This could force a scrubbed race and new election
