Freedom of speech is absolute anything else is an attempt to obfuscate the constitution itself.

Only in a modern society with the help of technology can people be deprived of their speech. Alex Jones was a case example.

He didn't tell anyone to do anything. He didn't say hurt anyone. He didn't say people didn't die.

A mob(all the people crying victory over this case) won and made a legitimate person protected by the 1st amendment a guilty man.

No justice here just a public flogging through the internet.

edit: Let's take another example. There's a school shooting and I say it was fake and people should go piss on graves!

If you go and piss on someone's grave and get caught you are going to get charged for desecration. Even if you said "Alex Jones" told me too you are going to jail not Alex Jones.

It's only because he had such a substantial following that the case panned out.

Imagine we had access to all 66,666 of your posts and we used every post that you were racist or demeaning or a little rude and then we built a video of you where we took the absolute worst and most offensive things you said and made a 5 minute video saying "This is who is and these are his shitty beliefs".

I was about to post yesterday but honestly it's not a big deal: I can understand the need of trying to apply the most freedom of speech as possible, especially when it's written in the holy stone of the U.S constitution (which is very deprecated but that's just my opinion).
So I understand, but it ends here, and this Alex Jone actually is one of the protagonists who are destroying the meaning of such constitution.

The very sad truth is that this rat probably noticed his conspiracist rants were generating alof of views (and so on purchases) on his websites and channels, so he pushed for it until it hurts the parents of the victims. Maybe he was looking to buy a second ranch ?
He gone too far and on the eyes of everyone. He has been exposed and punished by the law. He could ask to pay less money, appeal or whatever, but he will still be guilty of one of the most despicable behaviour a public person can do.
