Food shelves here are now by appointment only

Goomshill I kid you not.

If I did not grow my own food, I'd be at odd's end.

It's fucking wild here in democrat country.

I believe in freedom but they have us suffering out here.

I live in Texas. A loaf of bread does not cost a dollar. It’s $3-$4

Bullshit lol, Walmart white bread is a dollar in Texas I know that for a fact , if you want to buy the overpriced garbage brands it's always been more expensive to do so

You don't come across as someone who actually goes out & does their own grocery shopping, so I'm not surprised you're not familiar with prices.

Weird you omitted the cheapest one in your zip code:

What's a zip code around you? Pretty easy to prove/disprove it that way

It's $2.50 for cheap grocery store brand here and up for premium of fresh loaf. Unless you want to drive an hour you pay the higher rural price.

$2.50 for rural definitely makes sense. I believe ours is ~$2-3 for the local brand in Cali but I haven't been to it since switching to Aldi for most of our shopping. The price difference(and quality) of Aldi vs everything else is insane

I took a screenshot of the first row. You took a screenshot of the cheapest one you could possibly find. If you go to the grocery store to buy bread in Texas, 99% of the options are not $1

I took a screenshot of the first row as well. We used different search terms lol.

Are you saying Walmarts do not exist in Texas? I can order some $1 bread for you right now via pickup and you can be in & out of the parking lot in 5 minutes if you don't believe me
We are also debating "Cheapest loaf of white bread"
