I've said 100x times that I don't participate in presidential elections and only my local ones for that exact reason.

In the 25 years I've lived in my hometown everything got better(town went from a village to a city)(tons of new businesses i.e local tax revenue)(#1 safest city in Illinois)(One of the top school districts in Illinois) Upgraded and expanded Libraries/Sporting facilities/bike trails/etc.)

All of what I mentioned above was because people in my community care about OUR community. Not the town over. Not Washington DC. Not some other state. OUR city. Property values skyrocketed as people tried to escape Chicago and raise their family in a safe area.

Never once did I think any sitting President did jack shit but start wars, LIE about what they'll do when they get in office, and just be spineless corporately bought out stooges.

When migrants came into Chicago and their mayor started sending them to suburbs(my city and surrounding ones were told call the police if you see anything suspicious and we'll take them right back to Chicago)

When Chicago and our Federal government said, "You have to get the Covid vaccine to have a job/go to school/etc." our mayors literally said, 'No you don't you have the right to reject any medical intervention"

I suggest more people become active in your local politics instead of being emotionally dragged into a system that's been broken for decades.

Part of the human condition that never changes is the FACT that there will always be people/groups amongst us that are hell bent on power/control at any cost to themselves and others. No one who has power/control concedes it willingly.

If what you said did happen then yes we would see them serving the greater interest of humanity but all evidence in front of all our faces points to the contrary.

I'm a part of a philosophical/philanthropic organization called the Vivekananda Vedanta Society and one of it's highest goals is the "Social welfare of all beings". Building wells/schools/hospitals/temples/ in very poor and remote areas around the world.

You yourself are the "God" you've been looking for. The idea that Jesus or some other worshipped God is going to go help the lowest amongst us is a LIE.

It's you who has to dig the well.

It's you who has to help build the foundation of a temple/school.

It's you who has to gather the resources and provide the personel to operate a small clinic.

It's not God and it's not some politician whose going to do it.

You can still provide spirtual charity while the animal greed perpetuates too infinitum.

Don't make excuses like Elon Musk and say "I'll write a check for 10 billion dollars if you can show me how the organization will solve world hunger".

You go and do it yourself.
