Elon showed his true colors lately. New Tesla battery packs are a single piece that if one of the batteries fails, gotta replace the whole dang thing. Just how he wants it. Unlike the new vws that have basically legos.

Don’t get me started on his morals. Additionally, he is mentally ill and clearly didn’t get enough psychiatric assistance throughout his life.

I thought you were joking, but now I see Tesla is spray foaming 4860 cells together in the new packs. :/

Single unit construction on teslas brings the unit cost down but sacrifices reparability. Its like we've gone completely full circle from civil war rifles having standardized interchangeable components

100% right. I think people thought that they were gonna basically be the apple of cars because for a while it seemed like that’s sort of where they were heading towards. But now… idk. They basically doubled down on that by making it irreparable or replaceable when one of the cells craps out but instead of being reasonable about it like apple is with their services, it’s like having to buy half of the car over again…. Which leads into a bad joke. Teslas are the cars for people who hate cars. And maybe themselves too.

I wouldn't describe Apple as being reasonable about it. They're pretty predatory with their design practices.

and the fact Teslas are worse than that is just.... sheesh.

As someone who listened to Infowars often back during his coverage of the Sandy Hook shooting Alex Jones NEVER said what they claimed. NEVER.

I've always found this line hilarious, because they entered all of his statements they claimed he said into evidence. You can literally just download the recordings, which they did.

I don't think the Cybertruck was ever advertised as an everyday layman car. It's a premium product. Trucks in general aren't cheap though, think avg. new truck sold in 2022 cost almost 60k. With new products I think it's expected to pay a premium. I personally wouldn't spend 80k on it but as production ramps up as sales grow and inflation continues to eat away at the dollar, i don't really think the gap between in prices between Teslas vs non Teslas will grow.

the cybertruck is a premium piece of shit, lmao. i dont care about Elon one way or the other but I gotta say this one is a true blunder. the truck doesnt perform well offroad and it has 30% less range for 30% more price. it also sinfully ugly
the only people I see hyping it up are elon fanboys, its a massive L no matter what angle you look at it from

Just googled it, as of this month a total of 12 cyber trucks have been delivered. I'm never buying one but would probably wait until the number gets at least somewhere in the low 4 figures to see what customers think.

To say something is an L even before it's really rolled out is premature, I get you want it to be true but at least wait at least a few more months?

It reminds me of when Cyberpunk came out and everyone called it trash. Months later as the issues were patched and smoothed out, the game reviews changed drastically.

Things we’ve learned from that “trial”.

1) It’s no longer “innocent until proven guilty” it’s “guilty just how guilty are you”

2) Alex Jones was sued at one point for over a TRILLION dollars which later was reduced to billions and then to hundreds of million and now 10s of millions. Adam Lanza killed their children not Alex Jones.

3) Only time I’ve seen someone not allowed to say, “I’m innocent” with the judge holding him in “contempt of court” if he did.

4) Alex Jones was sued for more money then some big pharma lawsuits which directly killed people

5) Alex Jones never told people to go harass Sandy Hook victims parents. Alex Jones had guests on his show that talked about “crisis actors” and “false flags”.

6) Alex Jones got even bigger as a political personality because when people listened to what he said they all realized what they used as a basis to sue was lackluster at best.

7) Alex Jones reinstated on X after Elon Musk said he’d never reinstate someone who said children dying was faked because he’s had a child, “Die in his arms”. I guess all Elon had to do was ask Alex face to face what he meant by what he said.

8) Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, and Elon Musk talking freely in a podcast sent all SJW’s into conniption fits.

9) Alex Jones is my uncle

why would I want it to be true? I dont have a dog in the fight, im just a truck guy and have been paying a lot of attention to tesla/cybertruck news

Ive seen two compelling videos of cybertrucks going offroad and they had BIG problems both times. the most recent viral video shows a cybertruck off-trail in the snow...Im sure youve seen it, lol
my dads 1987 CJ7 could outperform a tesla truck, im sure of it. youre right in that its still early days but the hype has all but died....looks to be a big flop for Elon unfortunately
