Are you suggesting 20% of genz being part of the lgbt community makes sense?

Exactly. Punishment discourages something, but reward also promotes something, and nothing rewards a child more than positive attention.

Goes both ways.

. we can and should create a society where being gay has far less stigma. but many have tried, and failed miserably, to allow trans people the same level of acceptance. trans people are and will remain societal outcasts.

Thank God for that. Not everyone in society wants their children to be indoctrinated to cut their dick off or start on puberty blockers but give the zionists enough time and it will be government mandated.

Slippery slope is real. If we treated groomers like Arabs do the west would regain some semblance of sanity.

This gets said a lot but i dont buy it. like i said before we really think in the span of 10-20 years we've transitioned from LGBTQ people getting bullied into suicide to it being an actual society rewarding attention situation?

i dont buy it. we MAY be headed there with homosexuality, maybe. but we're a long way off from that being the case for trans people. even leftists in secret polls agree they're not truly accepting of trans people.

Even in my buttfuck edge of the world and I do live in the most remote reaches of the earth there's hr training on pronouns and peoples emails and email signatures and all that garbage. I get the squeeky wheel gets the greese but there's most certainly a rise. I mean this total anecdotal but you have people who just hunted and lived in igloos not 60 years ago and now their grandchildren think they're trans. We didn't have internet here 10 years ago. There was no such thing, this stuff didn't even exist.

canada is an odd case, because there's a legit fear of lawsuits and legal crackdowns on that stuff. but fear and acceptance aren't often the same. radicals in your govt have decided that prosecuting people over microaggressions is a good idea, and in the long run it will prove to be the opposite. all the same people are still wierded out by trans people, its just a fact. and i dont see that changing anytime soon.

and the fast creeping tech revolution makes for all sorts of cases like this. most of the 3rd world is gone, and 2nd world people who's parents were legit tribesmen have cellphones now.

Some people still believe being a goth is a good idea. The internet age means that you don't even need your niche to be real life. If you tell young, confused children that the solution to either mental illness or normal awkwardness is life-altering treatment, you'll get more of it. How many children are being medicated for depression these days? Looking at suicide rates, we seem to be trending in the wrong direction.

SSRIs are a top issue for me, so i dont disagree at all. am incredibly anti SSRIs. and i dont disagree niche communities grow via online support, all im saying is forming a massive protest against educators is misplaced rage and ineffectual. this narrative that the problem of ideologue teachers looking to transition your kids is silly, its a rare thing, and no where near the top issues of education. it's typical, rather than focus on systematic failures of education which are pervasive, we instead focus on cultural nonissues that are rare at best.
