honestly you guys throw around words like "rigged" and "illegitimate" so loosely it just makes it easy to not take anything you say seriously. during the election of 2020 the Trump family had a few pay-to-play scandals involving Kushner and co. with the saudis, and none of that has affected Trump's support majorly. but you guys want to pretend some story about crackhead Hunter was going to demolish Biden support? they literally were on board with voting in a vegetable who built his career on the failed wars on drugs and crime, the bar couldn't get much lower.

Desantis had traction when he was an unknown being cast as trumpism minus trump. He's just a deeply weird and uncharismatic person, and the more attention he gets on a national stage the less well hell do. Say what you want about trump, he's personable and charismatic and can work a crowd in a.way desantis just can't.

He's also been in Congress and FL state government and made very few allies because he keeps to himself. When he was a congressman he'd wear headphones and sleep in his office so he wouldn't have to interact with his colleagues.

Nothing is pretending here. Polls were conducted that revealed that ~13% of voters would have voted differently if they knew about the scandal. This was direct collusion & mass media censorship with the explicit purpose of interfering in the election. And people don't forgive this stuff.
