In the real world, how many hostages will Hamas release? And when?

That is the only thing that will bring this to an end sooner.

Any other noise is either conflating the current war and the larger issue over the Palestinian state question or straight up virtue signalling.

Why arent whining about Hamas rockets?
They are indiscriminately targeting civilian population.

Hamas members are legitimate targets

40+ days after the war and it’s pretty clear by now that hospitals, schools, daycare, refugee camps (all of Gaza is one big “refugee camp” but w/e) etc are being used for Hamases operations. It’s common knowledge by now. There is no shame admitting of not knowing all the facts..
