You know that Donald Trump wasn't saying he was actually going to "hit" people, right?

He meant he was going to criticize them publicly, probably via Twitter because that's how he typically has gone after people.

Ever heard of the term "Hit piece"? A "hit piece" in the news doesn't actually and physically hit someone (encouraging violence, as you say).

I figure you're being half-way sarcastic, but let's keep the criticism of Donald Trump in a fair and specific scope (preferably policy-centered) otherwise people are desensitized to the legitimate criticisms.

Hit so hard their head spins

Long history of encouraging violence.

I know exactly what he meant and I know exactly what those like you will defend it with

He has incited violence in his crowds and supporters before, and I can think of specific instances of him doing that. However, I do not think this is one of those cases. I think you are reaching on this, much like your claims of him committing treason. Trump is a bad presidential candidate, but we must make sure our criticisms of him are valid and specific, otherwise people won't give a shit about what anti-Trump folk have to say.

His rhetoric during his campaign has generally been inciteful and divisive, though, and I do not disagree with that. I have criticized him for doing this during his campaign, specifically when he called to rough up the BLM supporters and when he tells security to mistreat a particular protester.

And when you say "those like me", what exactly do you mean? Let's get your feelings out in the open and not be passive aggressive.

You criticize people for inciting violence, yet when I have challenged you on ideas before, you have said the only way to settle it is to fight you in real life.

Perhaps you are not one to speak about encouraging a culture a violence? What say you about peaceful dialogue and debate? Is it not okay to agree to disagree peacefully?

Leave it up to a socialist to have more violent and sexist supporters than a racist and sexist maniac

Trump and Sanders are two sides of the same woman abusing coin. Bernie's sexism was palpable on the debate stage.

This is ridiculous. Trump is a baboon, but he is not literally encouraging violence.
