There was alot of noise about LGBT, which no reasonable parents wants to take, and then there was the brutality against student protests, for sure parents would remember that. I dont think Ukraine was a factor at all, but israel, border issues, economy, that all must have played heavily.
alot of democrats probably did not like trump, he is not easy to like, but at the same time they probably could not continue support an agenda that saw their kids being bashed, mutilated, all the while the government supported genocide in israel.
