My interpretation of the history, is that there definitely is a geographical area referred to as Palestine to include people of a shared cultural and ethnic identity--with history, war, and Israel's expansion beyond The Green Line resulting in the Palestinian-inhabited Gaza Strip and The West Bank. Many, but not all, countries also recognize Palestine's existence. To suggest that "There has never been a Palestine" is a confusing argument to me. If people instead offered that the way in which Palestine came into existence is illegitimate, then I could at least understand that argument, as that doesn't detract from the reality that there is a Palestinian region.
there is an area for sure, but its kinda vague and it was never its own country, kingdom or anything
you could name plenty of geographical regions like that
in the german wiki it says that the arab understanding of palestine extends all way into syria and jordan, not just what we usually talk about here
if you go with that palestine should be gaza, west bank, israel, jordan, lebanon and southern syria, but you will never see that anywhere
they just want israel gone
