each case is unique and different some people broke the law because they brought guns some people broke the law because they broke windows some people broke the law because they were shitting and smearing their shit all over the walls of the capitol some people went to jail because they planned to put people in plastic cuffs etc etc etc is is a lot more complicated that 'what did they do' because it isn't a giant mob that did one thing it is thousands of individuals that did many different things and some of the things that some of those thousands of people did broke the law
