You just posted the answer to your own question: the preference of the Ukrainian government for Marki-Zay over Orban was based on Orban's closeness to Putin rather than his anti-democratic tendencies or anti-semitism.
Look, I get where Zelensky was coming from, but it's a big diplomatic blunder to say the quiet part out loud and publicly announce which side you're rooting for in your neighbor's election. Orban reacting to that is perfectly normal and just not indicative of anti-semitism. Do you seriously think Orban only told the guy who had just called for his ousting to fuck off because that guy happens to be a jew?
unsurprisingly you naively pretend like this can't possibly be connected, like orban singling out zelensky specifically doesn't fall right within his pattern of anti-semitic dog whistling. again, no angle is too obtuse for you to make excuses for bigoted authoritarians, lol.
also, how was it a "big diplomatic blunder"? how did zelensky's calling out of pootin friend orban hurt him? are you suggesting that orban would have lost had zelensky not rooted against him publicly? ridiculous...
