Eh, I dunno that that's true at all, tbh. Bernie's just so uncharismatic and really never did have a proper raking over the coals by the media that a serious candidate usually gets. Warren might have done a bit better, but I doubt it would have been a ton.
Sanders definitely lacks the physical and aesthetic traits that make him
appear to be uncharismatic. He energised quite a few people, the question is; is that down to actual charisma or the popularity of his ideas? Personally, I'd say both. I think he has some charismatic qualities that are somewhat offset by his old, grey and hunched appearance. Polling has shown that Americans agree with Sanders' proposals more than any other candidate, and Clinton rejected the 'progressive' nametag, stating she rather considered herself a 'moderate'. I think America's demographics have matured to the point that being a progressive is more appealing to the general populace than a moderate, but Hillary doesn't understand that yet. She better learn fast, because if Trump attacks her from the left I fear for the result come election day.
