Both of you should've noticed twitter users impersonating Musk clearly with the intend to harm him and the platform. You should know that impersonating people with the intend to harm them is a criminal offence.

Funny to see both of you getting your panties in a twist over Musk's takeover btw

Define "harm" from a legal perspective, as it specifically applies to this.

And IDGAF about his takeover of Twitter. That dumpster fire has been glorious to watch. But Musk has always been a choad, and fanboys who simp for him are idiots.

Still waiting on that legal definition of the specific harm caused by parody accounts.

This, this, and this.

this does not rise to criminal harm, you made a mistake there and you now realize that so wont answer.

i personally dont care at all about elon taking over twitter, and have been enjoying a lot of the hyperbolic reactions from lefties.

fine colloquially. people are slandering him, they're defaming him, they're impersonating him. all of that is fine in the literal linguistic sense.

YOU said it should be sent to the courts. criminal liability definitions around these terms in the context of provable damage aren't the same as the literal interpretation. you need to legally and clearly draw a line from Kathy Griffin's tweets to Elon Musk's wallet. and you need to demonstrate that any dollar missing from that wallet is 100% the fault of Griffin and only Griffin. that's not possible, Griffin is one of hundreds of people impersonating Elon, and i havent even seen estimates of damages, nor how those could be attributed wholesale to twitter impersonators. Musk's net worth started to tank the second the takeover got negative press covers, press coverage that's covered under the first amendment as protected against liability as far as ive seen. any first year law student could fight on Kathy's behalf and have the case thrown out pre-trial.

its ok, you can just say you're wrong and it's not a court issue, and only a TOS issue.

I said it should. That's my opinion, you can't change that no matter how much you type

e: And it's not fine in the literal linguistic sense unless clearly stating it's a parody or satire

lol so now you're stuck in a corner where you're saying "it's my opinion that a spurious charge should be sent to courts that will be thrown out without a trial and clog up the system, and there's nothing you can do about it! haha i owned you!".

you clearly dont get the law and are just retreating into a transparently pathetic position lol. everyone who read your post clearly knows you meant that it was a criminal act that should be prosecuted, then you got proven wrong on that so you've sadly shifted back to a matter of opinion of what elon's lawyers should email a DA.

thanks, that was actually a funny squirm to watch you make. dumb statement, double down, retreat.
