It's the same argument though. You ignore that if the russian proxies went home instead of keeping it up there wouldn't be civilians in the mix at all.

But yeah....sending in proxies to keep instigating fights was definitely something russia HAD TO DO, right?

Cause otherwise Ukrainians were definitely going to do what if they did? Oh right....get to go home as well. The horror of peace for these civilians oh no.

Ah yes, the "russian proxies" should just go home and there would be no war in Ukraine, and all those civilians would be alive. Right.

Problem is, the DPR/LPR militia forces are comprised of former Ukrainian citizens that lived in Donetsk and Luhansk, or the surrounding villages. They don't have anywhere to "go home" too, because Donbass is their home. What you are asking is for the ~1 million people in Donbass to just give up on their homes and re-settle in Russia, which would be the equivalent of surrendering and giving up. In that case, Nazi Ukraine wins.

Something tells me they aren't likely to accept that proposition.

Oh, so you're a Eurotard. That explains a lot.

I honestly just feel sorry for you people - it will take decades to undo the effects of the propaganda after the empire has finally fallen.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the American people will not get behind a nuclear war with Russia that will lead to the destruction of all our nation's cities and millions dead because of some brainwashed Europeans that are constantly provoking the Russian bear with their insane NATO-backed warmongering, schizophrenia and paranoia.

And you'd have to be delusional to think that Russia is actually going to invade the rest of Ukraine, let alone the baltics, or Poland, or any other crap eastern european country that would just drag Russia's economy into the gutter along with them on day one.

If you want to commit suicide by roleplaying Hitler or Napoleon and start a war with Russia, well then have fun but know that America will not stand with you and we will not commit suicide with you.

They literally did it once already, when they had to opportunity during the world war. All europeans are glad that their dictatorship proved to be too weak to keep their influence.

You should learn atleast the 20th century european history., you would know. Factual information, not nonsense redpilled woke ppl from some facebook groups. I know education is not strong point in usa, but its never too late to learn and get some critical thinking skills.

Putin's Russia is not the same as the Soviet Union and these are more or less two different entities that seek two entirely different goals. I am not defending the actions of the Soviet Union. However, modern-day Russia is not the enemy you so badly want them to be.

Your entire cultural identity is based around hating Russia. Honestly, I just feel bad for you - the brainwashing and multigenerational hatred runs so deep that even though times have changed, your people still can't let it go. Well, you will have to eventually. Move on and reject the present day propaganda, it's for your own good.

This isn't the 1940's anymore where nobody had nukes and nuclear deterrence wasn't a thing. Now it is. Russia will no sooner invade Eastern Europe than an alien race from Mars will invade Earth. Russia isn't going to risk nuclear war just to re-gain control over some territory that offers them nothing and which is already economically devastated, with no real natural resources to speak of. Can you imagine the costs they would incur from taking responsibility over all that land? It's not possible for them economically and they don't want to do it anyway, let alone the risk from nuclear war.

How is it surrendering to go back to the county they claim to want to be part of?

You are trying to convince me they are being mass murdered yet stay. Makes no logical sense.

Why isn't everyone in those regions part of these militias if they are all being murdered daily for fun by Ukraine? because they aren't.

Its not the same, right, its much much worse.
Its not hatred thru generations, its a completely reasonable notion to think of the russian dictatorship as a dangerous entity considering its past and the number of its dead journalists :) I am not even sure why would you paint it as hate? Wtf?
I mean literally every single sentence that you wrote is the opposite of the reality.
+ your only argument against them not doing it is the nuclear deterrent. Thats all what needed to be said.

But seriously, we all know you are not american but a paid troll.
Real americans (even the dumb ones) dont use phrases like mighty russian bear etc....

Tell yourself whatever you like to justify Ukraine's aggression towards their own people, but it doesn't change the facts of the matter.

DPR and LPR are not asking to be annexed into Russia and join Russia completely. They are independent republics that have their own self-ran administration since 2014 when they rejected the coup in Kiev.

These people were formerly a part of Ukraine and would have once called themselves Ukrainians. Now they are their own identity which they have created as a result of their blood and sacrifice in the face of an existential threat that sought to conquer them by force.

People continue to be murdered by the regime in Kiev. Earlier this morning I posted proof of a roadside bomb that killed 3 civilians, a bomb planted by a Ukrainian army saboteur group. The day before a coal miner was ripped to pieces by an artillery shell, all that was left of him was his clothing and some scraps of flesh.

However, they now have their own armed forces and they clearly do not intend to submit to aggression, but desire to fight for their right to live there. This I can get behind and respect. They should not be forced to leave just because Kiev stabbed them all in the back and declared they do not have the right to live.

Traitors=/=their own people. Once you take up arms against the country in which you reside you can't hide behind citizenship.

They don't get to call themselves that because they chose to fight for....idk to die and be a puppet state? I guess that's a win? I wouldn't get in that line personally.

This is the second time your examples of mass murder are less than a 5 people dying in a short period of time btw.

They could of lived there regardless of fighting for it is the thing. This argument is completely unrealistic.

Like for real all your examples rely heavily on the fact that the only reason any fighting is going on is because some traitors started a fight and put civilians in harms way.

What if...just think for a second...they just said "we are a minority and this place isn't for us so we are going to the place we want to be in". Why wasn't this a better solution than starting a war?

If these separatist group truly think they can be neither russian nor ukrainian i'd say those groups are simply chaos makers.

Traitors to what, exactly? A bunch of mass-murdering and Stepan Bandera-worshipping fascists? There is a reason people now call Ukraine Banderastan as a joke.

They have every right to defend themselves from aggression launched on their peoples by fascists. Now you would think that Europe would reject Nazism and reject modern-day fascism, but instead they are all groveling at Ukraine's feet and lining up to support the Nazi regime in Kiev, who launched a terroristic blitzkrieg on their own people because they would rather blame Russia than have to admit that the post-coup government in Ukraine, backed and installed by the US, is totally corrupt and guilty of numerous war-crimes and crimes against humanity.

Oh, I'm sorry that not enough civilians were murdered in the past two days for you. The fact that *any* civilians have been killed at all by Ukraine's military is already unacceptable as it is. Does it make you feel better that the total number of dead civilians, killed by Ukrainian artillery alone since 2014 exceeds well over ten thousand? Is that enough blood for you, or would you rather it be in the hundreds of thousands?

Sadly you're just another ignorant fool that has resorted to blaming the victims of this conflict. Ukraine could at any time have sought peaceful negotiations with Donbass. Instead they opened fire on Donbass, sent in tanks and aircraft and tens of thousands of troops whom massacred anything and everything in-front of them, before the tide of the war turned and they suffered one defeat after another in 2014-2015. Not once in the past 8 years did they seek peace and not once did they negotiate with Donbass.

I will re-iterate: there are 1 million people approximately living in Donbass territory. They lived there before the coup and they have a right to the land, which they have fought and shed blood for. These people should not have to leave, uproot their lives and be forced to live in Russia because of an illegitimate regime that was installed by the United States. That's not fair to them, it's not fair to Russia, and it's not fair for their lives and for their dignity. You blame them for "starting the war", but in reality this war was sparked first and foremost by US meddling in Ukraine and secondly by the far-right Nazi militant groups in Ukraine, who would be, if there was any real justice in this world, condemned by the world's international community for openly attempting to carry out a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide against their own nation's people, merely because they spoke Russian instead of Ukrainian.

Post more memes if you like, doesn't help your argument out much though.

I remember when Poroshenko was president in Ukraine - he was the direct hand-picked choice by the US in the after-math of the 2014 coup.

I liked to call him Porky. Now he is a real war criminal, as he is responsible for having ordered the "anti-terrorist operation" that started a civil war and led to the deaths of some 10-20 thousand civilians and another 50 thousand+ military combatants between both sides. A war that he lost by the way.

Zelensky so far seems to be more moderate, but he is weak and inexperienced. Does he have the guts to order an attack on Russian peacekeeping units in DPR territory? Not likely.

Biden is getting what he wants - his sanctions will move forward and NS2 will either be canceled or delayed a while. He can look like he was "tough" on Russia.

Calling it now - unless the Ukrainians decide to commit suicide, this crisis is reaching the end stage of its lifecycle and will disappear from the news in a few months.

You just told me a day ago that Zelensky was actively planning an invasion of the DPR, and would do it because he's Biden's lackey!
