Here is why you shouldn't eat dogs.

1) biological: symbiosis
In our world, some species enter into a biological contract called symbiosis. This tacit biological contract stipulates that they will cooperate to better each other's lives.
For example, there is the crocodile bird and the crocodile. The crocodile never harms the crocodile bird since the bird cleans the crocodile's teeth and ensures the dental health of the crocodile.
Another example is the honey guide bird and the honey badger. The honey guide bird leads the honey badger to a bee's nest and the honey badger takes down the nest to get the honey. The badger leaves small debris of honey for the bird.

In the same vein, humans and dogs have entered into this symbiotic biological covenant 15,000 years ago. Wolves have biologically changed themselves during this time to be companions for humans.
To substantiate, when you look at a dog's dna, they have up to 32 times the genes for amylase production. Amylase is an enzyme that breaks down carbohydrates. This level of amylase enzymatic activity is not seen in wolves.
This shows that wolves have transitioned from carnivores to omnivores to better live with humans since this stark change in amylase production coincides with the rise of human agricultural society.

A second evidence is the intestinal tract length of dogs. It is 8 times longer than wolves. This indicates that the animal is predominantly an omnivore.

Finally, their personality and facial structures have transformed to be obedient to humans.
When you examine a face of a dog, it has many more neonatal facial features compared to wolves.

All these changes took place rather swiftly within 15,000 years. They helped humans cross the Bering strait during the ice age. For the last 15,000 years or so, countless human civilization have benefitted from this symbiotic relationship.
Dogs have indubitably helped mankind survive up until the rise of cities.

As such, for us to infringe this holy contract and betray this symbiotic relationship found in nature goes against the very grain of our DNA.

dont eat dogs. We owe our prosperity to them.
