it's called hyperbole. it's used for comedic effect (the deliberately bad acting job on the comically large calculator should have given it away, even to people who are not so smart and didn't get it in the first place, like you) to highlight a point, which is that trump's completely incompetent, cynical, flippant, selfish, and anti-scientific administration is directly responsible for a large number of deaths during this pandemic, certainly multiple 9/11s worth. let me know if you disagree with that, or if you need other jokes explained from that brilliant video.
