Conversely, Obama imho got into the White House 4-8 years too early. He wasted a lot of his potential with his inexperience and his naive idealism during those first 2 years when his party had trifecta control and he had a ton of momentum.

I was a supporter of swamp creature Hillary Clinton during that election. If you remember she won the Ohio primary.

I was like who is this guy and why are people voting for him? A friend said "he has vision". Still not sure what that vision was, even if he was a competent administrator.

Hillary did a 180 between her '08 primary against Obama and her '16 primary against Bernie. In 2008, she was the candidate appealing to the (white) working-class while Obama appealed to the college kids and the professional class. In 2016, Hillary was the one appealing to the college-educated folks while Bernie was the 'Labour'-style working-class candidate.

I've watched Biden for decades, i know who the dude is. I've watched politics like people do sports. I'm taking a break because I've fixed up a house and pool since March like Stalin rapidly industrialized Russia, giving out my own stimulus pack to the local community. I didn't even get to vote in a primary so wtf does it matter?

I will watch him debate trump either he will be brilliant or we will hear about corn pop again.

Now I'm going to take a swim now that I've ripped out the shitty old slide and took a grinder to the bolts to make them nice and flush.

I am excited about Biden v Trump. I hope the Biden from the Paul Ryan debate comes out and he eats Trump's lunch. Trump might destroy him though he is a wild card. Trump is a knock out puncher.

For the record i think Mitt Romney was probably the best presidential candidate in my lifetime even though he was uncool and pretended to be human. I would take him, or Kasich.

lol i have to disagree my friend. he loves selling our American people out. he has absolutely :ZERO: charisma (say what you want about them but Obama and Trump have their ways of drawing you in. even GWB was better at this), comes from a privileged purely political family and has that aura about him that says he comes from money that you will never have and even if you do, you will be new money and he never lets you forget it. in terms of his performance Herman Cain (RIP) got railroaded out, Jeb! didnt bother running and Ron Paul was the Bernie of 2012 so it was a layup for him in the primary. when it came to the general he was completely dreadful, with so many unforced errors and no way of righting the ship (like Trump was able to) and it was clear he didnt want to win. Pres Obama didnt even have to try (he admitted as such, but he still went out and tried to win and he did so) because Romney thought it was such a genius idea to debate the moderator instead of Obama when the momentum was somewhat in his favor
