Not even close to a comparable situation. First of all, Palestine is a totally different geographic configuration. Hamas is a lightly armed and besieged militia that is in a much more desperate position while the DPR/LPR forces have a higher level of professionalism in their army and are much more well equipped.

Secondly, both the regime in Israel and Ukraine deliberately target civilians regardless of whether or not they are used as "human shields". Israel does not care about the lives of arabs any more than Ukraine cares about the lives of civilians they kill in Donbass.

Third, Ukraine was obligated under the Minsk peace agreements to withdraw heavy artillery from the front-line and ceasefire. They signed Minsk in 2015. And for 7 years they kept shelling anyway, finally leading to a situation where the Minsk agreement is now considered dead. A situation of their own arrogant and foolish making.

All those civilian deaths are on Ukraine's hands, period. Them, and the US, and NATO, for arming them to the teeth and encouraging them to fight instead of pursue peace.

By your standards not only am I a russian troll, but so are the thousands of other Americans in the peace movement that have figured out the truth for themselves and condemned Ukraine for their wanton slaughter of civilians in East Ukraine.
