When faced with the choice between libertarian ideals and owning the libs, cambo decided the latter was preferable. That's why the most blatantly corrupt and abusively self-interested president got a pass from him time and time again.

There's a lot of criticism on Twitter that Democrats didn't call witnesses. I tend to think it would be a waste of time... sure, we can talk about this being an inquiry for the historical record, but that's why we have journalists. The historical record will show Trump's incitement and his dereliction of duty, and it will show many Republicans acquitting him because they are part of a deadly and evil personality cult. It's time for Biden to govern... and what he and Democrats do for the American people is far more consequential politically.

Thus ends a colossal waste of time and resources.

If we are going to impeach Trump for spreading lies about the election, which is not what he was impeached for, we are going to have to bar a number of eminent Democrats from public office. There's no will to do that, and so there's no will to do this either.
