How is it racist to strategically opt for someone who can bring in the most amount of voters - unlike you, I'm sure his team did extensive research prior to choosing her. Is it racist then to vote for Obama? To vote for Hillary ? Some people just identity with others better . I never understood that line of reasoning and it's indicative that you might be a bigot. Would you say it's racist if rednecks enjoy Trumps divisive rhetoric? Their obsession with Barry's middle name? His origins? Do not try to rage race bait just because you hate or can't endure the fact that whites are becoming more and more a minority.
And yes, I was sad for three consecutive days and stopped posting here for almost 4 years out of disgust, but I did indeed accept the cult leader as commander in chief.
Harris was not popular and did not bring in an excess of voters, and quite possibly lost a great deal of voters. Progressives would vote against Trump regardless, and globalists and those who work for high end multinational corporations that have a solid foundation in the US would vote against Trump to protect their own self-interest. I said back in 2018 when things were ramping up for the starts of campaigns that the only person looking at the field who'd be likely to beat Trump would be Biden. Name recognition plus no firm stance on anything would win him the day. I also said repeatedly that the best strategy for his campaign for the general election would be to hide in the basement. Let the Trump Outrage Machine do it's work, collect all the benefits. Don't field real questions, don't answer real questions, avoid controversy of any form like the plague. We've steadily ramped up the controversy machine in American politics for the last 20 years to the point that there's a general fatigue the average voter is feeling. Unfortunately, Harris' record as DA and AG was 100% counter to everything the BLM movement and general anti police state movement stands for, and she has done absolutely nothing as a senator but shit talk Trump. She refuses to answer questions, justify her actions, and just laughs at anyone who levels any criticism. She has shown zero interest in negotiating across the isle, and is derisive of any democrat who does not fall in line with "accepted positions". On the flipside, somebody like Gabbard negotiates, looks into issues prior to commenting on them, is super likeable, and incredibly accessible. Her platform was certainly in line with what the average moderate democrat would prefer to see, without going full progressive. Her relationship with the Republican party and independents is amiable. She has no track record of putting the interests of multinational corporations above the well being of the American public, and she's stood for criminal reform from her first day in office. Not the "extend sentences and extort free labor" type of reform Harris is known for. Actual reform.
The end result of this election is what I predicted 2 years ago and was told I didn't know what the fuck I was talking about. Going back, I was informed that Biden was not popular, was not a solid choice, and nobody would turn out to vote for him. In the end, they were right, but I was more right. Biden was the perfect candidate to keep in the basement to allow people to vote against Trump. Harris, on the other hand, brought nothing to the table. Had Harris been the Presidential Candidate... Well, she was, wasn't she? And she had so little support that one debate with Gabbard and she dropped out of the race. Her polling was the worst on the docket. Nobody supported her, nobody liked her, and nobody would have voted for her. On the flipside, plenty liked Gabbard and were prepared to vote for her, left right and center. For her sake. Not to vote against Trump.
And your attempt to declare me a racist because I think Harris is garbage based on her record, her life's work, is garbage, and is very indicative that you yourself are racist. The very idea that you cannot criticize somebody's actions based on inherent traits such as skin color is the height of discrimination, and frankly you should feel ashamed of yourself. Obama got the vote because the media did an excellent job hiding his socialist agenda and he talked an amazing line about bringing jobs and opportunity back to the US, curtailing the outsourcing and non-competition work visa programs, and putting America first. His actions in office were 100% contrary to his words to get there, and are reflected in his drop in votes from 2008 to 2012. That said, I voted for him in 2008, I was certainly fooled. Does it make me a racist that I thought Obama was being honest rather than lying to my face?
Regarding "divisive rhetoric" that's a purely ridiculous talking point. You've made the comparison between Trump voters (74.2 million this year, weren't there) and white rednecks, and want to talk about divisive? The left has made every attempt to demonize those who disagree with them possible over the last 4 years, excused riots and murder by antifa and BLM, blocked relief bills for a shattered public during a pandemic for purely political reasons, downplayed historic middle eastern peace agreements, pushed for war against a sovereign nation without any proof of wrongdoing, and you're talking about "rhetoric"?
In the end, I think you're genuinely stupid. You claim Biden's team did "extensive research" before choosing Harris. You're either stupid or you're lying. Take your pick. Biden himself stated publicly that he would choose a women of color. His words. That narrowed the viable choices that would even possibly be accepted to 3. The very fact that government representation was chosen with the first two qualifiers being ethnicity and gender is literally racist and sexist. To claim the "most qualified candidate" was chosen as VP when 95% of the possibilities were dismissed without examination of their qualification puts the bold faced lie to your statement.
Any other ignorant bullshit you want to spout, or are you done?
