another case or two will come before the supreme court and kavanaugh/the majority 5-4 will just say well while yeah this is unconstitutional it will expire soon again anyways

only thing is a lot of these leases will be expiring along the way (and likely renewals not offered). but the individual/small homeowners will be out 12+ months of rent. leading to more international conglomerates/hedgies/foreign subsidiaries buying up swathes of real estate and building expensive, cookie-cutter, boring apartments that will be exempt from any of these moratoriums.
