This is why I really regard the excess death count as the only meaningful metric, as it has been since this whole thing started. Nobody really knew how big or small it was otherwise, this is the only concrete number. And yeah, it can be skewed by less people driving, less people in dangerous surgeries, more suicides, whatever. But at the end of the day, if 130,000 more people died in these months of 2020 than did in 2019, that's a pretty good indicator that coronavirus killed ~130,000 people

This is a man who didn’t know that injecting disinfectants wasn’t a good idea around the same time that he was recommending HQ. By the way, calls to poison control centers for disinfectant intake skyrocketed after Trump’s comments and likely resulted in the deaths of some individuals... I think it is worth calling that out.
