The Senate produces one sensible, measured good governance bill and the nytimes immediately publishes a fawning piece which is predicated on low sample size arguments.
I would like to see the infrastructure bill get past the progressives in the House and who will win the primary battles of the 2022 cycle before agreeing with the conclusion of this article that center-left moderation and bipartisanship are strong and kicking.
And like bogie pointed out, it's far from guaranteed that this approach will be a winner at the ballot box.
That said, the infrastructure bill seems like one of the best things to come out of the Biden era so far. I hope it passes without much drama.

she/he (icepeon) really linked a paywalled david brooks opinion article. talk about desperate times lmfao
hey delta variant is raging, inflation is rampant, oil prices out of control, china flexing their might with no resistance (lol), border policy is in shambles, and the harris/biden administration cant get their own staff to a fully or even herd-immunity vaccination level. but a neocon pale pasty privileged lefty anti-American non-US wannabe thug scumstain “david brooks” says all is well. he probably approves of trudeau’s vaccination policy too (1st and 2nd doses are available about 4 months apart if you are lucky)
e: what is that idb poll +23 approval during 10% inflation, did they poll the ccp party?
