Off the top of my head, I remember Obama being asked before he was president if he'd be willing to go into Pakistan and risk pissing them off as a sovereign nation if it were necessary for the sake of catching bin Laden, f'rinstance.

LMFAO, yes, Trump clearly meant "I will meet with my military advisers and listen to whatever they say" when asked how he was going to bring peace to two disparate groups, that's clearly what 'meetings' means in that context.

Obama and Trump literally did the same thing.

They made a board statement to stay flexible and then made a decision as opportunity and information came together.


Obama is far from perfect with foreign policy too. If Obama didn't side with Al Qaeda in Syria in a pathetic attempt to topple his FORMER ALLY Assad, there would be a bunch less dead people in that area of the world right now.

That's obviously a big "LOL yeah no." What's hilarious is that Faux and the rest of the Republican bubble-verse tried so hard to create this narrative that Obama wasn't up to the challenge of being president, and he just proved them wrong again and again and again, making them look completely foolish. My favorite example of course was Bill Reilly's very direct challenge in the 2008 interview: "you're not going to sent ground troops into Pakistan" (to go after Bin Laden), only for literally that exact situation to occur.
