Biden is a flustering dumbass. They miscalculated and provoked the Russian bear into recognizing the independence of DPR/LPR, destroying any chances of them ever rejoining Ukraine. Although this outcome was inevitable since Ukraine is totally insane, it would not have happened at this time without Biden's meddling in Ukraine. Truly, they shot themselves in the foot.

Instead of taking responsibility for that, they just say "muh sanctions ree" and then walk off without taking any questions.

By the way, wouldn't be happening if Trump were president. Trump would never have given political support to Ukraine to provoke a conflict with Russia.

I think Ze is realizing that he and Biden overplayed their hand. Now it's either they attack Russian peacekeepers or calm down. Needless to say, the first choice is suicide.

Watch in amazement as Biden passes his sanctions package on Russia and then Ukraine magically disappears from the news.

According to the west, Russia "invaded" Ukraine back in 2014 and DPR/LPR have already had Russian soldiers present there for 8 years.

It's not true of course, but this is US/NATO's version of events.

So what changes now that Russian peacekeepers are officially in DPR/LPR, with the permission of the head of these states?

Is Russia re-invading the same territory where they have already had soldiers according to the mass media?

I remember when Poroshenko was president in Ukraine - he was the direct hand-picked choice by the US in the after-math of the 2014 coup.

I liked to call him Porky. Now he is a real war criminal, as he is responsible for having ordered the "anti-terrorist operation" that started a civil war and led to the deaths of some 10-20 thousand civilians and another 50 thousand+ military combatants between both sides. A war that he lost by the way.

Zelensky so far seems to be more moderate, but he is weak and inexperienced. Does he have the guts to order an attack on Russian peacekeeping units in DPR territory? Not likely.

Biden is getting what he wants - his sanctions will move forward and NS2 will either be canceled or delayed a while. He can look like he was "tough" on Russia.

Calling it now - unless the Ukrainians decide to commit suicide, this crisis is reaching the end stage of its lifecycle and will disappear from the news in a few months.
