I agree that I'm a very scary person. My new signature also spoils the big twist in the story, just like when Homer walks out of the Movies and spoils the ending to Star Wars with Darth Vader being Luke Skywalker's father.

That is the thing, you don't need to give anything. The LORD God Almighty gave it all for you, he will bring about free forgiveness and save you just like that.

If you look at the beginning with the Israelite's, they were enslaved by the Egyptians. What happened first is God rescued the Israelite's from slavery, THEN the 10 commandments came after that. Doing the 10 Commandments wouldn't save the Israelite's because they were already saved.

The cycle still continues to this day. You do not have to attain some kind of 'worthiness' or stature to be saved. God will freely give you salvation, just like that. You brought nothing to the table, God did it all for you.

Since it is in the bag that we are already saved, the things that we do now is not for our own benefit because it has already been given to us. Why do you think we Christians do what we do and tell you about this freely given offer?

Do you have any evidence of Egypt having that many Israelite slaves? Archeology finds tell a different story.

Yeah we all gotta sin though or that Jesus dude died for nothing!

We are born into a life with many religions and if we (usually our parents or their parents etc) don't pick the correct religion, we are going to hell. Seems logical.

Why do you keep on coming back to this thread if it bores you? If you were a logical person you would never visit this thread again because logically people do not like to get bored.

Before I make that 'Unanswered' question 'answered' do you know what I'm going to say in reply?

Probably something out of the bible I would assume or just dodge the entire thing because off my name. I'm thinking the latter.

Not just any old thing out of The Bible but the actual moment where it says the Israelite's were enslaved by the Egyptians!

Exodus 1:8-14: 8 Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt. 9 “Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become far too numerous for us. 10 Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”

11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. 12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites 13 and worked them ruthlessly. 14 They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.

Oh and before you go on about how you can't trust The Bible, I believe you should first read this entire thread where we actually had this discussion 2 years ago.
