Personally, I would rather have businesses manage their own affairs, so as policy I think it's rather dumb. But at the end of the day, people have to make their own decisions. If a vaccinated person is not comfortable going on a cruise knowing that other, non-vaccinated individuals may also be on it, then they can and should stay home. That's an inconvenience, but so are lockdowns and vaccine passports. I don't think you can ascribe moral culpability to the governor for his position on way or the other, unless you take the view that bad policy itself is immoral.
If we do want to go down the route of mandatory vaccinations, then I would like to see the government extend limited liability for side effects. When I got vaccinated, I had to sign a long letter acknowledging that I was taking an experimental product, one which may or may not be effective, and which had documented instances of side effects. It might just be legal language at the end of the day, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was throwing a lot of people off. And because the government acknowledges that taking the vaccine is in the public good, and that side effects are extremely rare, they should really have no issue accepting responsibility for the result.
harris/biden cant even get their own staff or political party govt figures fully vaccinated. hell the entire Democratic state party in Texas held a super-spreader event on their own private plane. per this nonsense rhetoric wielded by noted racist and anti-American icepeon, they are all evil.
they can mandate themselves before they put that on the public. Oh wait that’s right, government employees are exempt from the individual mandate that the rest are subject to, and this is completely 100% Constitutional per Roberts.
