I think the US should exclude everyone from traveling to the US. If we did, I'd bet our cv-19 cases would be a lot less.

Nobody has built houses in Cali for the rent for like 10 years now. They will often lose money on the rent because they expect the property value to appreciate, at least in cities and suburbs.

sooner or later, a lack of affordable housing will lead to stunted economic growth. property values won't continue to go up ad infinitum once the underlying fundamentals are no longer there.

Its driven by foreign, particularly Chinese, investment. Until that force stops they wont have stunted anything, people will continue to commute for an hour to go to work.
