Pro-corporate is conservative in absolute terms, just maybe not in American terms since our entire political spectrum is only the top right corner.

Most corporations are picking up the banners of SJW's. Rainbow banners, BLM support, climate change pretty much flagellating with the next new social issue. It has everything to do with just making money and staying out of the mobs sites so they all toe the 'progressives' lines. Hardly top right corner.

Corporations don't exist on the actual left side of the political spectrum.

Corporations are neither right nor left, at least the vast majority of them. What they do though is they stick their finger in the air and try to position themselves to minimize negative publicity based on politics, social stances, etc. In 2020 it’s pretty obvious which segments of society will try to bludgeon you and bring negative publicity therefore they adopt those banners. Like I said gay rights, climate change, all issues that corporate world bend over themselves to show support. It’s not that they necessarily give a fuck about those causes but the negative PR could be devastating.

Corporations are machiavellian for the pursuit of their goals so they have more in common with the left than they do with the right nowadays.

They're neither right nor left on the American spectrum, but the American spectrum only barely crosses left of center. Even Bernie is only slightly left on the world stage. I'm talking about the absolute political spectrum, where the icky communism and socialism exist on the left.

Same problem of extremely heavy contagion in German (and others in europe) meatpacking factory happened; closed space, lower temperature, but still high humidity maintened to void de meat to dry (and to lose weight).

Think about it if the herd or crossed immunity is reached very much this winter, prepare for another global lockdown crisis IMO; thus it could be much slower for "educated" countries who will still using masks.

From other source:

"
Humidity control is critical to sanitation and quality in a meat processing plant. Droplets of moisture on meat create the ideal conditions for microbes to thrive and give the meat a slimy feel. Humidity in cutting rooms should be kept between 45% and 60% relative humidity (RH) at temperatures of 10-12 °C. (==50-54° F)Lower temperatures are preferable, but are usually avoided because they make working conditions too unpleasant. Coolers need a higher humidity (85-95% RH at 0-4 °C) to prevent weight loss (and lower market prices) because of drying.

Wonder how well the Teamsters union and employees are working with office folk on COVID procedures. I've worked on the tail end of ice cream production, and can't imagine the factory/warehouse I was in being able to meet guidelines without huge impact to output volume. And, kind of curious how temperature checking would work in a refrigerated warehouse environment. Skunk got in there once upon a time and sprayed, took ages to rid the smell.

Yeah, the situation in our German meatpacking plants is a disaster. We have the covid situation mostly under control in the rest of the country, with 200-500 daily cases over the past month, but in recent days, there have been huge local outbreaks in several meatpacking facilities. These local outbreaks have added something like 2500 additional cases over the past 7 days and forced the two worst affected counties to go into lockdown again. Let's just say that the affected residents of these counties, particularly the owners of small businesses, are extremely PISSED...

The issue is not only caused by the conditions inside these plants btw, it's also that their workforce is made up almost exclusively by subcontraced workers from Eastern Europe who are living in extremely crowded, substandard appartments where social distancing is impossible. The disastrous working conditions and exploitation of Eastern European workers is finally biting us in the ass.
