She is not a politician, she was a news anchor or reporter or something. She understands how public opinion is swayed because she did it as a living. She is not tied down to donors or backers so she actually says and does things she believes in, rather than acts on who she owes what. She is basically her own Kaleigh Macenany, ready for every tough question with citations and rebuttals (and looks good doing it đ). This is exemplified by the fact that the woman who is leading her in votes right now would never address any direct criticism, or even entertain the idea of debating her, knowing she would make Fetterman look good if she went head to head with an actual good candidate. She isnât afraid to speak to anybody, and does not have that politician filter. You know, super careful responses that require stopping yourself from saying certain things several times per sentence. She also has spent her time campaigning and figuring out what the people in her state actually want from their governor. She focuses on âkitchen table issuesâ as they say.
She is basically a real person running against a cookie cutter establishment democrat who refuses to be in the same room as her to articulate her ideas to the people she is asking to vote for her.
