the gun grab was specifically to stop school shootings, they were as public as they could have been about that.

guess how many school shootings Aus had from 2009-2018? zero

USA? 288.

1996 was when Australia banned semi automatic weapons and started a massive gun buyback program.

"by your logic" is a strawman. i'm not in favor of a semi automatic weapon ban in the USA, nor do i think gun buyback programs will be effective. i'm just talking about the facts and statistics related to the meme he posted. i'm doing a stats analysis, not offering policy i support.
