menards required masks months before Tony Evers in my state mandated them.

Simple question on that: Did they provide the masks?

Basis behind the question is simple enough. Mask mandates went back into force here (Portland area), but when you go into a business like Walmart, they have a crate of masks at the door. I'm happy enough to wear the mask since it's provided. Put it on at the door, toss it in the trash on my way out, no worries. They want me to do something that's not going to particularly impact me, and they're going to provide the means to do it? Sure, whatever.

Did Menards though? If they were mandating masks prior to government mandates, but forcing you to buy the masks from them in order to just shop there, that's a form of forced consumerism. I'd have to go back through the legal textbooks, but I'm pretty sure there are laws on the books preventing that, aren't there?

yes they did, less and less took them tho as more placed req'd masks so almost everyone owned one. even anti maskers had a bandana or similar.

Ah, if they were providing the masks free of charge, then any time for any reason I support the businesses decision.

I've gone into businesses that require (and provide) masks year around because the owners are germaphobes. It's not exactly a new thing.

beyond that cloth masks people were buying up like hotcakes on etsy and other websites were proven to be ineffective compared to surgical masks. my wife like many others bought the cheap cloth masks that are now in a landfill.

a 1$ washable masks was worse than a 10 cent disposable one. o well.

Can vouch Menard's provided masks. Made many trips there last summer while remodeling our kitchen and basement, and every time there were free masks available for those without them.

I prefer the Covid
Had it twice already

March 2020
October 2020

Rough 2-3 days 1st time. Felt no different than any other time I was sick. Did nothing different.

Only loss taste and smell the 2nd time. 17 days

Being as reckless as possible to get the Delta variant to improve my future health but no luck yet

It’s a shame that hospitals are forced to tend to anti vaxers. Such a waste of space.

I couldn't agree more. I even believe they should turn away smokers and drinkers. Those people don't need any medical help.

All I did was get tested. I was never hospitalized. Even if I had been, I am pretty sure there was no vaccine at those times.

Plenty of vaccines in my body btw  anti vax makes no sense
