China is currently having the same problem, with clusters popping up all across the country, all linked to an index case at Nanjing airport. If anyone can do it, it's the Chinese. In Australia, the big question will be if the people put up with the strict lockdown long enough to get the outbreak under control. That they already had to call in the military to help enforcement suggests that a lot of people are very fed up.

I legit hope when this is all over and the mass know it was all a hoax that we start to get rid of all the weak people who wanted to force vaccine on others. We need to rebuild stronger and stop giving the weak so much breathing room. If you weak and useless, we send you to the army to at least become a man.

They have a lot more authoritarian tools at their disposal than Australia, so I think they will "succeed"...

i think their current spike is still due to the UK variant. zero covid might be impossible realistically, but considering its geographically beneficial situation as an island nation, combined with a relatively low case baseline, they are apparently trying to achieve it anyway...
