Restaurants and bars are back open again here, with guest amount restrictions. Schools are back open (except for universities).

1st of July will have more restrictions lessened, with sports facilities opening up again.

Our current numbers look pretty good, with ~130 patients in ICU atm compared to 1300+ at peak. 15 Registered deaths yesterday, which is falling day by day.

No more restriction 10th july, numbers are great, people are massively using masks here.
Btw alot of people are weird; masked while driving or walking the dog ... Alone ...

Second wave scenarios following american scientists:

Three scenarios on the future of the coronavirus epidemic

1) The first scenario is that of "mountains and valleys". According to him, the wave of spring 2020 that we are currently experiencing will be followed by successive and regular peaks, but less intense at least until 2021. Measures of confinement and specific physical distancing may then be necessary.

2) The second scenario predicts a wave of the epidemic in fall-winter 2020, which would be much larger than the first. It would then be followed by several smaller phases of the virus's re-emergence in 2021. It would impose strict containment measures so as not to saturate hospitals. In the report, Cidrap scientists indicate that this scenario corresponds to what happened during the influenza pandemic of 1918 as well as the influenza epidemics of 1957 and 2010.

3) The last scenario is that of "slow combustion". Without specific periodicity, the number of cases and transmission would gradually decrease until 2022. Scientists indicate that containment measures would not be crucial, although infections and deaths would still be possible.

==> There's more arguments in France for a -moderated- second wave

The health officer for Southern California’s Orange County has resigned after receiving threats over her order for residents to wear face coverings when near others

seems a little odd but not too crazy

Quick is the seventh senior health official to resign in California since the pandemic began

ok, now that IS crazy. A revolving door for the last 3 months because no one can stand the pressure of the threats?

An article that compares "mortality shocks" (times when the total death toll from all causes in a city was much higher than normal) of different historical events so we can see where the current months stack up
