Turnaround has been much shorter than 10 years lately. It hasn't even been 10 years since the US started overtly supplying weapons to ISIS in Syria.
I expect in ~3-4 years from now we'll be at the point where people universally agree the Ukraine War was a horrible misstep by the Biden administration and wasted huge amounts of resources against our own interests in the long run
