Its weird but the very last post I made in this thread laid out how virtually all palestinian homes demolished by Israel each year were illegally constructed.

Whether it's this war or Ukraine, when a military drops a bomb on a building which is a hospital, school, apartment blocks, churches, w.e. majority of the time it's done because there's a really good reason. Typically the weaker side knows there would be PR blowback if someone fires at a civilian building, so the whole point is you place anti air defense systems, command centers, weapons depots, precisely in these type of 'protected' places instead of obvious military installations. This isn't something new in war, but do those screeching about it ever care about these type of details or is it more cognitive dissonance or basically saying we don't care?
