Even if Kavanaugh is eventually confirmed in October, what a disaster for Republicans. His chances of a September confirmation have dropped from 65% to 29% based on PredictIt. Their chances at holding the House and Senate dropped 9 and 5 points respectively over the past week, and some of that has to do with the optics of this Kavanaugh confirmation. At this point, they have to be regretting the pick.

I disagree. Democrats would be doing this to ANYONE. I've said it before..... the left would rage and demonize Merrick Garland if Trump chose him. Mud has been slung.
