Egypt always had a choice since it's an old condition and part of what keeps the peace between us and Egypt. Egypt wants nothing to do with the Palestinians. it's been like that for decades, over and over.. they know Gaza is a hole that comes only with trouble.
the more i read comments in this section of the forum about Israel's IDF and\or our conflicts, the more i see how users in here are clueless to what's what.

imagine a dense shithole. now double that by 40 times, take your time to imagine it, crowd several million people in it, and imagine that the ones who decide on who is doing what in this shithole are a proxy
for a country that wishes to nuke \ burn alive \ freeze to death \ drown you name it.. all of those are relevant to their own existence. they spend most of their lives on digging tunnels and hiding rockets on schools\play-grounds\hospitals ( launch sites ).
this is their goal in life.
a simple thing in life:
i don't need my rockets or to be an Iranian bitchy puppet. i will speak to Israel, they will help me build something in return for decades. i don't need the hate, the wars. i only want my freedom, my netflix, my carpet for praying, my food, my family and w\e.. i want to be calm and free.
what would happen if those terror organizations will surrender their weapon and talk ? peace. the next day.
what would happen ( in reality ) if Israel will burn the IDF and no military will be present ? a genocide.

that is such a dumb and obvious lie, lol. there have been extended periods of relative peace without major incidents between the factions. international negotiators and reasonable, moderate voices within both israel and palestine tried their best to negotiate a peaceful and sustainable future, but nothing really came of it because radicals (like you) did not want to compromise.
so israel did NOT end its brutal occupation. in fact, it accelerated its encroachment onto palestinian territory and apartheid policies...
the absolute refusal to acknowledge that
it's israel's illegal occupation and daily terror against millions of palestinian civilians that inevitably leads to radicalised individuals launching such horrific terror attacks, and not some innate characteristic of the palestinian people as a whole (nice racist stereotype there), is core to this whole problem.
there are basically only two ways to end this circle of violence: either israel fundamentally overthinks its occupation and apartheid approach, and stops the imprisonment and cruelties towards millions of innocent civilians, or israel outright commits a genocide on the palestinian people - short of that, this will never end.
it's pretty obvious which option radicals like netanyahu and you prefer... which is very sad, since it's the one that will predictably see tens of thousands of innocent people on both sides suffer and die... but hey, at least you didn't give up illegitimate claims to lands that aren't even yours by international law - guess you think that's worth murdering children for...
