and no, you're wrong about the football match. it was in munich, which happens to be in germany, not hungary. the munich stadium has a feature which allows it to be illuminated in different colours. munich city officials and the DFB (german football association) wanted to illuminate it in rainbow colours, considering it was pride month and fitting with UEFA's official stance on inclusion - but hungarian officials felt mortally offended by a bunch of lights, and used their connections with UEFA leadership to prevent that, claiming rainbows were a provocation to their fragile manhood.

Polands economic growth is so massive that they will receive significantly less EU funding in the 2021-2027 fiscal period than they did in the previous 2014-2020 cycle.

Wrong, it is the EU and the liberal west of Europe which has, in recent years, been trying to expand the scope of various civil and human rights, far beyond what these laws and principles were understood to mean pre-circa 2010 or so. Poland, Hungary and other Eastern European countries refuse to go along with it, causing the EU and wokesters to throw a fit.


I really doubt that Hungarian officials have that kind of sway over the UEFA. I think it has more to do with several major sponsors of UEFA and the 2020 Euros: Gazprom, Qatar Airways and Azerbaijan, which are all decidedly anti-LGBTQ.
