Democrats just gutted school meals in Minnesota. They took a program reserved for the needy, with means-tested benefits, and gave it to the wealthy. Now poor kids share the same pool of resources set aside for school lunches as the rich. What happens when the rich literally eat their lunch? Poor kids go hungry. All they did was take a program for the poor and give it to the rich.
If Republicans had gone and said most WIC and EBT benefits should be reserved for upper middle class families who own two homes and a mercedes, you'd be denouncing it as corporate puppets stealing food from the struggling masses.
